Welcome to Eurovision Radio International
Eurovision Radio International is a fast moving, entertaining three hour radio programme offering up-to-date information and entertainment about the Eurovision Song Contest all year round. The show contains interviews with past and present Eurovision performers, News about the Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Quiz, Expert opinions and of course the Listeners' Choices as well. 
 
ImageThis weekly radio show is geared for Expatriates, English speaking internationals and especially to the fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast from the studios of RTV Katwijk in the Netherlands on 106.8FM & Digital Cable Channel Number 781 and via the Internet. (Click to listen). You can also find Radio International (RTV Katwijk) on TuneIn. Simply click on the icon and you should be able to hear the station's stream on the times of live broadcast on Wednesday from 2000 - 2300 hours CET. In addition to the means of FM radio and webradio, Radio International will also be simulcast on the ESCNEWS TV channel in the UK (where you can see how we actually do Radio International). You can reach the channel by clicking here while listening to the weekly edition of Radio International or some previous interviews Radio International has done with Eurovision performers. Radio International would like to encourage you to actively take part in the chat during the show, making more Eurovision Friends and send in your requests and greetings.

Normally, the simulcast is from 2000 – 2300 hours CET 
when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry. Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience, is extremely happy that the show is also aired on the following radio stations:

Image(25 March 2015) The Team of Radio International invites you to the weekly Ultimative Eurovision Experience. Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv, TUNEIN and on Digital Cable 781 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via in the UK based ESCNEWS TV Channel from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. The channel includes a Chat Room. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. Normally, the simulcast is from 2000 – 2300 hours CET when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry. ImageMelodifestivalen 2015 Interviews: Melodifestivalen 2015 took place on Saturday 14 March 2015 in Stockholm's Friends Arena with 12 great artists selected out of the four Semi Finals and the Second Chance round. 28000 people in the Arena and a great pair of show hosts: Sanna Nielsen and Robin Paulsson guiding through the Final of Melodifestivalen. JP and Eric were on location and conducted interviews with many of the artists and producer Christer Bjoerkman. This week's edition of Radio International will be a special on Sweden's selection to the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Enjoy the show especially this week. 12 acts competed in Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2015 and Eric and JP speed interviewed most of the acts at the Press Conferences after the Dress Rehearsal and after the Grand Final itself. ImageInterview with Linus Svenning (Melodifestivalen 2015): In 2014, Linus Svenning already made it to the Final of Melodifestivalen with the song "Broeder" (Brothers)" reaching Number 5. Linus returned in 2015 and made it through the Semi Final stages and the Andra Chansen roun and in the Final he reached Number 6 with the song "Forever starts today" which he performed in English. The Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet the singer after the Final in Stockholm's Friends Arean for an interview.
 
ImageInterview withe Jessica Andersson (Melodifestivalen 2015): No stranger to the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest as Jessica Andersson already represented Sweden at the contest as part of Fame when in Riga their song "Give me your love" reached Number 5 in the Eurovision Song Contest. Jessica tried it again to win Melodifestivalen in 2006, 2007 and in 2010 and with this represent Sweden again at the Eurovision Song Contest. However, she did not succeed. Then in 2015 once more the made it to the Final of Melodifestivalen with the song "Can't hurt me now" which reached Number 11 in the show. Eric and JP met the singer at the Press Conference after the Dress Rehearsal for an interview. Listen to it on this week's edition of Radio International. 

ImageInterview with Samir and Viktor and Songwriter Kevin Hoegdahl (Melodifestivalen 2015): Already last week Radio International aired one Interview with Samir and Viktor when Eric and JP met the guys after the Dress Rehearsal. Then again Samir and Viktor were interviewed again for a follow on after the Final of Melodifestivalen 2015. In addition, at the Aftershow Party Eric chatted with the songwriter Kevin Hoegdahl who is the creative mind behind the song "Groupie" which reached Number 8 in the Final. Enjoy these interviews on this week's edition of Radio International.
 
ImageInterview with JTR (Melodifestivalen 2015): A complete new boyband on the Swedish music market is JTR which stands for John, Tom and Robin.The band is alsosuccessful in Australia as they were part of the Australian X-Factor. They entered the song "Building it up" into Melodifestivalen 2015 and reached the Final in Friends Area where at the end of the competition they ranked 11th. At the Press Conference after the Dress Rehearsal JP and Eric chatted with the young singers. Enjoy the fresh interview on the show this week.
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision 2015 in Regions:  For the next few weeks the Eurovision Experts of Radio International will be taking a look at the 2015 Eurovision entries per region and this week Ross Bennett will start with the northern countries that are competing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. This week hear the songs from Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland. In addition, each week our correspondents will be asked to tell us their personal favourite but also their tip what could actually win the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.  
 
Image Eurovision UnderCover:  Radio International each week inserts into the show Eurovision Cover Versions where David Mann from Eurovision-Norwich will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the cover. Enjoy the brand new series.  Listeners are encouraged to send in their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.

ImageEurovision Quiz:  Scratch your heads and bite your nails at  our weekly Eurovision Song Contest Quiz. Good luck and win a copy of a past Eurovision Song Contest Final on DVD or a dip into the Eurovision Goodies Bag. All you have to do is to identify the five clips with Artist, Song, Country and Year. Send your answers via the website's CONTACTs form. As for the quiz answers, you have time until 2359 hours the Tuesday after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize. Our friends who pick Radio International up via EurovisiOradio.eu can also participate at the weekly quiz. Good Luck! 
 
ImageNew Song Releases by Eurovision Artists:  Radio International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the music closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs which are being featured on the show. Over the past couple of weeks Radio International has received so many new released of Eurovision performers which will will air during the upcoming editions of Radio International. 
 
 
There will be the usual bits and pieces such the Eurovision Quiz, your EurovisionMusic Requests and messages, Eurovision Calendar Items and the Eurovision News as they happen. Your views and requests are welcome and quiz answers can be sent via the website's CONTACT link.
