Eurovision meets South Africa: For the next three weeks the third hour (2200 hours CET) of Radio International is entirely devoted to something very special. South African artists sing Eurovision songs in the Africaans language. You will hear the original first and then the Africaans version of the Eurovision entry for you to compare. Alexander Rybak is the Winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. He won with a total of 387 points for Norway with the self-penned song "Fairytale". The team of Radio international had the pleasure to interview Alexander in his hotel in Moscow, Russia where the 54th Eurovision Song Contest was held in the Olypmic Indoor Arena.
