Welcome to Eurovision Radio International
Eurovision Radio International is a fast moving, entertaining three hour radio programme offering up-to-date information and entertainment about the Eurovision Song Contest all year round. The show contains interviews with past and present Eurovision performers, News about the Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Quiz, Expert opinions and of course the Listeners' Choices as well. 
 
ImageThis weekly radio show is geared for Expatriates, English speaking internationals and especially to the fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast from the studios of RTV Katwijk in the Netherlands on 106.8FM & Digital Cable Channel Number 781 and via the Internet. (Click to listen). You can also find Radio International (RTV Katwijk) on TuneIn. Simply click on the icon and you should be able to hear the station's stream.   
 
ImageIn addition to the means of FM radio and webradio, Radio International will also be simulcast on the show's own web TV channel (where you can see how we actually do Radio International). You can reach the channel by clicking here while listening to the weekly edition of Radio International or some previous interviews Radio International has done with Eurovision performers. Radio International would like to encourage you to actively take part in the chat during the show and send in your requests and greetings.

Week 40/2014 - Holidaying Eurovision Radio International
Image(01 October 2014) The Team of Radio International invites you to the weekly Ultimative Eurovision Experience. Apart from the means of FM Radio in the Netherlands on FM 106.8 and the audio stream from the studio via www.radiointernational.tv and on Digital Cable 781 & cable 88.1Mhz in the Netherlands, the show will also be web-televised via the Radio International TV Channel from the studio and linking up the many international Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read your messages out on air. Tell your friends to join in - SPREAD THE NEWS. Normally, the simulcast is from 2000 – 2300 hours CET when Eurovision fans can join in and chat amongst each other via the Chat Room and request their favourite Eurovision entry. ImageHoliday Eurovision Radio International:  Eurovision Radio International never stops and is keen on keeping the music of the Eurovision Song Contest in the ears of the many fans that join the show each and every week via the usual means either via PODCAST, Itunes, LISTEN AGAIN, live broadcast or Live Stream. Please feel free to submit your comments, ideas and requests of Eurovision songs and Radio International is delighted to play your requests during the shows. For the next weeks most of the Team of Radio International will be on their well-earned Summer vacation which means the show is on holidays schedule with a flashback on Eurovision 2014 as well as visits to National Finals and Pre-view events including interviews, reports and my music requests from the listeners. Holiday schedule also means that many of the regular items are paused such as the Clip Quiz, Eurovision News, Eurovision Spotlight, Eurovision Covers, etc but find out below what is planned for this week's edition of Eurovision Radio International.
 
ImageInterview with Firelight (Malta 2014):  Malta is a very traditional country when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest and the island is crazy about the contest and named it's national selection process "Malta Eurovision Song Contest" which this year was won by Firelight with the song "Coming Home". Malta qualified for the Grand Final from Semi Final 2 and ranked at Number 23 at the end of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Radio International has interviewed Firelight a number of times but this week listen to Eric chatting with the group in the Press Centre of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.  
 
 
ImageInterview with The Shin & Mariko (Georgia 2014): The Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet the entire Team of Georgia for an interview in the Press Lounge of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 - The Shin & Mariko who represented Georgia with the song "Three Minutes to Earth" which unfortunately, did not qualify for the Grand Final from Semi Final 2 where it ranked at Number 15. The Shin actually lives in Germany for many years - that is what JP found out during the interview amngst other things. Listen to the interview on this week's edition of Radio International. 
 
 
ImageInterview with Dilara Kazimova (Azerbaijan 2014):  Azerbaijan won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with El & Nikki with "Running scared", in 2012 Sabina Babayeva ranked 4th with "When the music dies" and then another amazing entry in 2013 when young Farid Mammadov performed "Hold me" coming second in Malmoe. This year the choice of Azerbaijan fell on Dilara Kazimova who performed "Start a Fire" which ranked 21st in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet the singer in the Press Centre in Copenhagen just after the Press Conference. ImageInterview with Cristina Scarlat (Moldova 2014):  Moldova was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 by Cristina Scarlat performing "Wild Soul" which unfortunately ranked last in Semi Final 1 and with this also did not qualify for the Grand Final. JP met the singer in the Press Lounge for an interview you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International.  
 
 
ImageInterview with Axel Hirsoux (Belgium 2014): A huge fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and member of the Belgian Jury, a dream came true for Axel Hirsoux when he won EUROSONG 2014 which is the Belgian National Final almost coming to the standard of Sweden's Melodifestivalen. Axel's dream was to sing at the Eurovision Song Contest which he managed to do, although only reached the Semi Final 1 with the song "Mother". After his Press Conference in Copenhagen JP had the pleasure to chat with the Belgian Ambassador to the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Hear it on this week's edition of the show. Axel will be special guest on the annual Eurovision Club Germany Convention in Cologne, Germany on 22 November 2014. Details.  
 
 
ImageInterview with Can-Linn & Kasey Smith (Ireland 2014): The Irish Nation was represented by group Can-Linn feat. Kasey Smith with the song "Heartbeat" which unfortunately did not qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contes 2014 and ranked in Semi Final 2 at Number 12 when only the Top Ten advance into the Grand Final. The Team of Radio International met the gang for an interview in the Press Lounge of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 right after the Irish Press Conference. Nathan Waddell re-joins the team in the studio in October to bring you every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc.  Nathan will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International.
