Now residing in London, United Kingdom Suzy was Stockholm, Sweden during the 61st Eurovision Song Contest and entertained the many international Eurovision fans in the Euroclub with Eurovision covers whether ballades or pop songs from the contest. Radio International was on location and Fernando chatted with Suzy very charmingly and in a funny way which is very amusing to listen to. Listen to the interview on this week's edition of Eurovision Radio International and have a smile.

The first time round was back in 1984 when she came second with the song "Terminal 3" and then in 1992 she won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Why me" which was written by Johnny Logan. ImageInterview with Alex Larke of Electro Velvet (United Kingdom 2015): The United Kingdom's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 was Electro Velvet are Bianca Nicholas and Alex Larke who with the song "Still in love with you " reached Number 24 in the Grand Final of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest last year in Vienna. Alex Larke and his partner (not Bianca!:)) recently became proud parents of a baby - Congratulations. Last September David Mann went to a concert where Alex Larke was part of and met the singer after the show for an interview which Radio International is happy to air on this week's edition of the show.  Aside from his role as one half of UK 2015 Eurovision representatives Electro Velvet, Alex Larke regularly assumes the mantle of Sir Mick Jagger in his role as lead singer for the Rollin' Clones, the UK's leading Stones tribute act. The band are often on the road performing at gigs all over the country, and they've performed abroad as well, with a line-up that sometimes includes additional musicians and female backing singers too. Covering the whole range of the Rolling Stones music, from a career span of 50 years or more, gives Alex and the Rollin' Clones plenty of scope. David Mann caught up with Alex in a break from sound checks as he was preparing for a performance at Potters Leisure Resort, by the seaside in eastern England, and asked him to reflect on his Eurovision experiences in Vienna.

ImageEurovision Champion Chart - Slovakia and Czechia: The Eurovision Champion Chart is produced by Craig Mitchell Johnstone in conjunction with the Face Book Group called "Eurovision Champions". ImageEurovision Song Contest 2016 - A look back at the event in Stockholm with David Mann (Part 3 of 5):  Enjoy listening to part 3 of our five part mini series this week reflecting the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden David Mann has been producing a flash back of the work the Team of Radio International did during the Eurovision week if it is Interviews, Reports, Press Conferences and of course the great music of Eurovision 2016. Don't miss any of this and enjoy this trip down Memory Lane of Eurovision 2016.

Radio International on 28 September 2016

Image Interview with Krista Siegfrieds (Finland 2013): Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by the bubbly Krista Siegfrids and the girls performing the song "Marry Me" which came 24th in Malmoe, Sweden. Taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest paved the way for Krista's media and singing career as she also has been hosting the Finish National Final, competeing in Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2016 as well as releasing new material and been attending various national Eurovision Conventions. The next one to come will be OGAE UK's EUROBASH in Manchester on 01 Oct 2016. Radio International's JP met the charming singer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 Opening Reception at the Red Carpet as Krista was this time a reporter for Finland's Swedish language TV channel. JP used the chance of a brief update interview. Enjoy it on this week's edition of Radio International.

ImageInterview with Mans Zelmerloew (Melodifestivalen & Eurovision Winner 2015, Sweden): Who would have known that at the time of doing this interview back at the Stockholm Pride 2012 that Mans Zelmerloew would eventually win Meldofiestivalen and then subsequently also the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 with the song "Heroes". Eric and JP attended the Stockholm Pride as international media reporting from the event backstage and had the chance to chat with Mans. For some strange reason this interview has never been aired on Radio International - so it is about time this happens and it will - on this week's edition of Radio International.

ImageInterview with Nadine Beiler (Austria 2011):  Doesn't time fly as the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 happened just around the corner - just five years ago :) when Germany hosted the contest in the Esprit Arena of Duesseldorf. The contest was won by Azerbaijan for the very first time with El & Nikki. Austria was represented by a very young and great singer with an amazing entry called "The Secret is Love" which reached Number 18 in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. The artist is Nadine Beiler who was very often mistaken as one of the backing vocalists of the Maltese entry since they all had the same hairstyle :). Radio International's JP had the big pleasure meeting Nadine at the last OGAE Luxembourg Eurovision Gala and conducted a follow on interview after her soundcheck. Hear this interview on this week's edition of Radio International.

ImageEurovision Song Contest 2016 - A look back at the event in Stockholm with David Mann (Part 4 and 5 of 5):  Closing out our five part mini series this week reflecting the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden David Mann has been producing a flash back of the work the Team of Radio International did during the Eurovision week if it is Interviews, Reports, Press Conferences and of course the great music of Eurovision 2016.
