Eurovision Interview with Anna Bergendahl (Sweden 2010):  At the end of July 2010 Lilian, JP and Eric were in Stockholm for a huge Eurovision Event where many Eurovision artists were interviewed. Radio International continues to air these interviews on the show this week.  Listen to the interview with the winner of the 2010 Melodifestivalen and with this the representative of Sweden at the 55th Eurovision Song Contest. For the very first time in the history of Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest Sweden failed to qualify for the Grand Final. "This is my life" ended up at Number 11 in the Semi Final 2 when only the Top Ten of the Semi Final advance into the Final.

 

Euro Friend Song Contest 2010 - HEAT 4 - The Qualifiers:  Radio International in collaboration with the Euro Friends Song Contest will be announcing during the show this week the ten qualifiers of HEAT 4 of what  the international juries have been voting for on the Facebook page. On the Face Book Page of the Euro Friends Song Contest, one could vote for your ten favourite songs  in the Eurovision Song Contest  amongst the fourth hundred songs of Europe's biggest music competition.  Two weeks ago Radio International revealed the ten qualifiers of HEAT 3 and now HEAT 4 is closed and the results will be announced during the show by Andy Simon, who is one of the prime organiser of Euro Friends Song Contest 2011.  Heat 5 will start very soon and you can join to vote for your favourite Eurovision songs by clicking on this link which takes you to the Facebook page of the Event. Remember, you have to be a member in order to join the voting. 

 

A Eurovision Summer: Marcus Keppel-Palmer will be joining us for the entire third hour of this week's Radio International and together guide us through a Eurovision Summer. Marcus selected the best picks of Eurovison tunes that remind us of a fabulous summer time. 

 

There will be the usual bits and pieces such the Eurovision Quiz, your Eurovision Music Requests and messages, Eurovision Calendar Items and the Eurovision News as the happen. We are looking forward to also receive your views and requests, quiz answers via the website's CONTACT link or msm to   As for the quiz answers, you have time until 2359 hours the Tuesday after Radio International was aired live. That gives the chance for the listeners who were not able to join us live on Wednesdays to participate in the quiz and the draw for the prize.
